Compass Global Music Taps RapidMedia Network for Desktop Music Portal

RapidMedia to Customize Unique Music and Media Solution with RapidBrowser Technology

CHICAGO, IL- January 2003 - RapidMedia Network today announced today announced that Compass Global Music, an Internet portal for the music and entertainment industry, will utilize the RapidBrowser desktop portal software as the gateway to deliver their streamed and downloaded music and entertainment.

RapidMedia will create The Compass Global Music Browser, a private label, customized RapidBrowser for Compass Global Music. The desktop software application will include a custom media player with proprietary file sharing protocols and digital rights management technologies.
